Kuk. The latter Society provides a
refuge for any girls who wish to leave
their employers but are unable to
return to their parents.
The Hong Kong Government is
satisfied that any serious abuses
of the law could not escape the
notice of the inspectors.
The
visits of the inspectors have also
shown that in general the girls are
ed
content/and well-treated by their
employers. Isolated cases of cruelty
to chilaren occur in Hong Kong as in
this country, but they are exceptional
ana aaequate penalties are imposed by
the Courts.
